This morning, when LouLou went to her studio to collect the shopping list, and see if any of her auction lots had sold, the worst thing happened - the lock broke with the key within it. This meant there was no way into the studio, and everything within was inaccessable. Thankfully our wonderful neighbour braved licks and scratches from Monty and helped Ivor to unscrew the mechanism and bash it out of the door, without breaking the glass or wood. Then we had a slightly larger locking mechanism to hand in a pile to be sorted out, and thus, Ivor was able to replace the lock and refit the whole lock and handle. Phew! Oh, and all but one of the auction items has sold, bringing in welcome holiday and crafting funds.
