Learning from the Littles

Shopping without Joy was ... well it was quicker, more quiet and our biscuit packs remained unopened. But somehow, something was missing. It was her love of mischief and fun. We look forward to her being back with us next Friday. Monty also missed her, but things were back to the normal madness when the two little terrors arrived in the early evening. Hope and Joy were back from their holidays and ready for a sleep over with Nana and Grandad. As they had both been stuck in their car seats for several hours, they were both understandably wired - making Monty even more excited. It was too dark and wet outside for them to play to let off steam, so after they were both fed and watered, we turned on the fairy lights in the garden and all shared the hottub - telling them that the fairy lights were there to help the garden fairies to see their way. It was magical as the girls wanted to keep looking to see a fairy. Strangely no fairies were seen. Getting the girls to sleep was a challenge, but eventually cuddly toys were chosen and things went quiet. It was so special to see our two little miracles asleep cuddled up together in our spare bedroom. Shhhh don't wake them....
