We started our day with a lovely walk along the river with Monty. We saw very few people, so were able to enjoy the peace and quiet as he explored under every leaf, said hello to the sheep and called to the shire horses in the nearby field. Meanwhile, LouLou was able to collect another bag full of ripe and juicy blackberries. Signs of the slow changing of seasons was all around us.
Then it was time to pick up a couple of plant pots ready for transplanting the multiple spider plants born this year.
After a delicious brunch prepared by Ivor, we all had the afternoon free for crafting and relaxing.
What a perfect kind of day.
