To the lakes we go

Now we have joined as a supporter of the lakes, we don't need to feel guilty for using their carpark. In fact we should soon receive an official car park sticker so we can visit lots of lakes in the south coast. This morning, we took Monty for his morning walk to the local lakes. Learning from recent experiences, we walked around the small lake first, knowing Monty is unlikely to be able to manage to walk around both lakes just yet.

It was so peaceful there, with just fishermen snoozing in the early morning dew. And plenty of birds to watch.

Going early means we have the rest of the day to ourselves, to do a little housework, cooking prep and work on our hobbies and research.
