Life has been getting out of hand recently. We no longer spend our days in paid employment, so why can we not find time to ourselves, doing things we really want to, with people we want to be with, or on our own. And to walk Monty of course.
Of course we accept that family need us, including LouLou's mum and our precious grandbabies. But there has to be a way to give up what is not essential, does not make us happy and healthy.
Today, Ivor spent the day at home whilst LouLou went to the nearby Woman's Institute meeting. The speaker was a specialist in counter-terrorism, a fascinating topic. The walk along the cliff top and through the town gardens to the bus stop was glorious.
Our afternoon was spent researching new photographic kit options, and preparing to sell some of our old kit to part-finance new kit. We will get there :)
