Covid has such a lot to answer for. Apart from the terrible statistics that is. LouLou's Mum, Mabel, was mobile, even drove her own car prior to March 2020. She cherished her independence. Today she struggles to walk, rarely leaves her home, and suffers from the lack of movement. It is hard to see.

Today we took her for a planned doctor's appointment. And afterwards, persuaded her to take a look around a nearby store. With her Blue Badge, we parked right outside of the door to the shop. With a trolley for support, Mabel found the confidence to stroll around to do some shopping for herself. At one point, we lost sight of her - and had to dash around the shop to see where she had got to. She said she enjoyed the experience, but would sleep well that night as she was pooped!
